Courtney Love plans to sell former husband Kurt Cobain's belongings, twelve years after the Nirvana frontman committed suicide. "I'm going to have a Christie's auction," Love told spinner.com. "[My house] is like a mausoleum. My daughter doesn't need to inherit a giant Hefty bag full of flannel f***ing shirts. A sweater, a guitar and the lyrics to Teen Spirit - that's what my daughter gets. And the rest of it we'll just f***ing sell... Everyone's been positive and behind me on it. We'll make a lot of money and give a bunch of it to charity." An rep for AOL, which runs spinner.com, announced today that no date has been set for the auction. Although Love has had a few boyfriends since Cobain's death, including actor Edward Norton, she says he's still a big part of her life. "I still wear his pajamas to bed," she says. "How am I ever going to go form another relationship in my lifetime wearing Kurt's pajamas?"

Britney Spears's secret comeback gig has been postponed. The singer had been working hard for a gig at Forty Deuce in LA last Wednesday, but canceled at the last minute. "She wants to get back to performing on a small scale before she gets back in front of a big crowd," says a source of Spears's choice of venue for the show. Details are not known about the cause of the cancellation, but insiders speculate it was management-related, and that someone decided the popstar wasn't quite ready. As reported late last week, Spears is scheduled to perform three shows this week in San Diego, Anaheim, and on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood.
More news from The View... Co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck announced this morning that she is pregnant with her second child. "Like, I'm totally three months pregnant," Hasselbeck said on today's show. "I figured that we're going to be lonely without you," she said to fellow host Rosie O'Donnell. "So, Tim and I thought we should get busy and maybe make a little co-host." Hasselbeck and her husband, football quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, will welcome the baby in November. The couple have a two-year-old daughter, Grace, and don't plan to find out the new baby's gender until the birth. ABC released the news in a statement just prior to the airing of this morning's show. In other View news, sources say Roseanne Barr is reportedly the top contender to take Rosie O'Donnell's spot on the show next year, though Barr's rep denies the story. "She's a piece of work, she's a character, she says what's on her mind and she's funny," says an insider. Barr avoided directly answering the question when asked by Larry King last week. "I'm not looking for the job," she told the CNN host. "Well, I want $10 million, like Rosie." Since O'Donnell announced her plans to leave the show last week, several big names have been circulating as possible replacements, including Joan Rivers, Whoopi Goldberg, Kathie Lee Gifford, Connie Chung, Bette Midler and Kathy Griffin.
Australian actress Keisha Castle-Hughes and her boyfriend welcomed a daughter last week, according to her rep. Castle-Hughes caused a stir when her pregnancy was announced as she was only 16 at the time. Now 17, she and her 20-year-old boyfriend have been dating for three years and live in New Zealand. Felicity-Amore was born on Wednesday at 6:35 p.m. weighing 7 lb, 6 oz. At 13, Castle-Hughes was the youngest actress nominated in the Best Actress Oscar category for her role in Whale Rider.
80s popstar Boy George (whose real name is George O'Dowd) has been arrested in charges of assault and false imprisonment in London after a male escort told police he was grabbed and chained to a wall in the singer's apartment. The escort told a British newspaper he was invited to O'Dowd's home after meeting on a gay website and agreed to pose for photos in kinky outfits for $890. O'Dowd and another man are accused of jumping the man and handcuffing him to a hook, and after the second man left, O'Dowd allegedly brought out sex toys and whips and told the escort, "Now you'll get what you deserve." The man said he was able to yank the hook out of the wall and ran to the nearest newsstand to call the cops dressed in underwear and a T-shirt. "I was convinced I was going to die," the man told a British paper. O'Dowd has been released on bail.
Britney Spears was stopped by police on Friday night on Sunset Boulevard. "She was pulled over for speeding," a Beverly Hills police sergeant confirmed. "She was warned about her speed and let go. She was not cited." Spears has been working hard on her comeback album, with frequent visits to the Millennium Dance Complex in LA and trips to the studio to work with producer (and brief fling) JR Rotem. "Everyone talked about how happy she looked to be back in the studio," says a source. "She came in focused from the start. She's always been a pro when it comes to her music."
While Lindsay Lohan seems to have tamed her problems with alcohol, she admits she has another addiction: shopping. "I talk about my impulses with my therapist - I have a shopping problem," the actress told Nylon mag. She also revealed that she kinda likes the paparazzi: "I get embarrassed about the paparazzi if I'm in a chic restaurant, or when I was in the AA meetings... I feel really disrespectful because those people are doing that for themselves and it's no one else's business. But that was the only time it was embarrassing. Other times, I obviously like it... I wouldn't ever want them to not take my picture... I'd be worried. I'd be like, 'Do people not care for me?'"
Natalie Portman is lending her star status to support microloans. The Star Wars actress has been working with FINCA International, an organization that provides small loans to people in developing countries. Portman described meeting young mothers who only had access to low-paying jobs working in poor conditions and says, "And then they're able to get a loan and start their own business out of their house and be with their children. It changes the whole system... If a woman can't tell her child, 'I can feed you tomorrow, I can pay for your school,' then where do they go? What do they do? What do they choose? It's really trying to reach the poorest of the poor and offering banking services to them."
