Wesley Snipes was indicted Tuesday on eight counts of tax fraud. The actor has been charged with cheating the government out of $12 million in false refund claims. According to the indictment, Snipes failed to file a return for six years, and used accountants with a history of filing false returns to claim fraudulent refunds in 1996 and 1997. He faces up to sixteen years in prison if convincted of the charges.
