After over two years on the job, CaCee Cobb has resigned her position as Jessica Simpson's personal assistant. The pair celebrated Cobb's last day at Morton's Steakhouse in LA on May 7, where Simpson toasted her former employee, saying, "You are my best friend. I will be your best friend forever." Simpson's rep confirmed the story to US Weekly. "It's true," the rep said. "They remain close."
